The Duo

With our very rare chamber-music formation we try to transcend the traditional sphere of the concert. This allows us to explore unique and exceptional worlds of sound.

To attend our performances represents an initiation into diverse musical styles, epochs, and moods, on the highest level of virtuosity, crowned with a splash of humor. We draw the bridge from the baroque age to the Romantic period. Our program comprises everything from great arias to virtuoso gems and pieces specially written for our formation.

In our new program called “Classic - Hits from three centuries” we set out on a musical journey with famous compositions for the clarinet and the harp throughout the centuries up to the present-day.

In our second program, which is purely Austrian, we contrast classical compositions with those of present-day composers. All the new pieces performed in this program have been either written especially for our duo or for our instruments.

Another program called “Classical Music – Differently Served” we present music from the baroque to the romantic period before the intermission, while we focus on the opera in the second part, presenting famous arias in good taste and with a lot of humour.
